Religious brothers and religious sisters (including religious who serve the Diocese as Pastoral Coordinators)
are not clergy. These instructions apply, whether they are living within a religious congregation,
or they have assignments in the Diocese..
They will apply for livescan either as a volunteer or an employee, and will use the entity of the parish, school or ministry to which they are assigned.
Brothers and Sisters of Religious Communities who are involved in ministries for the Diocese
of San Bernardino must complete a Live Scan background check.

Pastoral Coordinators:
If you are a Religious Brother or Religious Sister who serves as a Pastoral Coordinator,

Livescan (digital fingerprinting) form requests may be downloaded or provided by your director.

YOUR NUMBER: Unlike Diocesan Seminarians, Non-Diocesan Seminarians in religious orders
will use the number code of the parish, school or ministry your serve.
If you receive a stipend, you are an employee. Otherwise, you are a volunteer.
