Welcome to Safe Ministries Training Programs, created by the Diocese of San Bernardino. We presently offer online training for:
Training 1: SAFE ENVIRONMENT AND THE DIOCESAN CODE OF PASTORAL CONDUCT
Training 2: MANDATED REPORTER: THE CALIFORNIA CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT REPORTING LAW
Are you aware that the following people are required by Diocesan Policy to take both of the above trainings?
** All Clergy **
** All Parish, School and Diocesan Pastoral Center Employees **
** All Volunteers who work regularly with children - i.e., those volunteering in ALL youth ministry programs including, but not limited to, catechists and coaches **
Each course includes:
** Training Material **
** PRETEST **
** 3-4 short quizzes **
** a FINAL EXAM (to meet criteria, you must have 17 out of 20 correct) **
** a Printable Certificate (only available if and when you meet the criteria) **
** You must print your certificate within 2 weeks. After this, call tech support for help printing. **
** Note: Not every computer will allow you to log in to the training. If you notice that the course is not accepting your personal information after trying a few times, please contact one of the above phone numbers. **
Each course may take between 1 and 3 hours.
Note that you can leave the course, and if you remember your username and password, log in again to resume your work.
If you don't remember your username or password, or you forgot to write down any changes the program made to the username, call or email the contacts at the top of this webpage.
